Made from 3,000 year old bog oak.

Library Steps, Mark I

This particular design of library steps takes its inspiration from unfurling the pages of a book. These steps have four treads with the uppermost being 80cm high.

Materials used are walnut and oak with bronze pivot hinges, catch and inlaid treads.

Natural pearls grow in a shell so it seemed an appropriate inspiration for a jewellery box. Releasing a secret catch allows the box to open to reveal the velvet lined interior.
